1. Open the Alexa app

You should see a screen like this!

2. Tap the 3 lines in the upper left hand corner

Tapping that “Menu” option will open a list of options. It should look like this!

3. Select “Settings”

4. Tap “Alexa Privacy” 

You’ll have to scroll to the bottom of the page to find this option. 

5. Select “Manage How Your Data Improves Alexa” 

6. Toggle the switch OFF next to “Help Improve Amazon Services and Develop new Features” 

You can be sure it’s toggled to the off position when it’s to the left, or you see it’s gray instead of blue. Here’s a picture of what it should look like once you turn it off!
