There are all kinds of explicit songs available to anyone who has internet access. Luckily, Spotify has added a feature through family accounts where you can choose if your child can listen to certain types of music or not. Follow the steps below to see how!

On a Mobile Device

#1: On the home page of your Spotify app, click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner. This will open your account setting menu

#2: Click on “Explicit Content”

#3: Toggle the switch between the on and off position. When it’s green, that means explicit content is still accessible; when it’s grayed out, it’s disabled.

#4: Restart the app and you’re done!
